ASBESTOS AND LEAD WORKSHOP (FREE OF CHARGE)
- to provide information on asbestos regulations, an overview of statute
revisions for proposed lead-based paint activities if they are still being
considered by the legislature and to discuss issues encountered by DEQ staff.
Guest speaker, Dr. Glenn Gomes, will talk about the medical consequences of
asbestos exposure. 9:00am-12:00pm in the Oliver Pollock Room, DEQ Headquarters,
602 North 5th Street, Baton Rouge.
